Baseball Update- Fall Ball and Tournament

Dear LFYAA Friends,

We would like to take a moment and congratulate our 2015 Archers tournament teams as we wrap up our annual LFYAA baseball tournament. Our 8U Archers, coached by Harlan Sammons, snatched up first place against Pasadena. Our other 8U Archers team, coached by Jeff Maglowski pulled off second place against Fallston. Our 12U Archer's team, coached by Mike Bennett, also pulled off a second place finish to Hampstead. The 6U Archers, coached by Mike Wooden, made it to the finals for the first time in several years. Our 14U Archers, coached by Randy Rykiel gave it their very best effort. All teams and coaches represented LFYAA extremely well and we couldn't be more proud!

Come out and cheer on the LF 10U Archers, coached by Mike Zaccagnino, as they rival Glen Burnie for the championship tomorrow July 1 at 6:30 PM on field 5. Go Archers!

LFYAA offers Fall Baseball for those ages 7-14 and 8U & 10U softball. The teams play games on Sundays only and generally have a practice or two during the week. Due to a website glitch, our Fall Ball registration will not be available online on July 1 as originally planned. We are working through the glitch, and are hoping to have registration available sometime after the weekend. We will send out an email when online registration is available. Thank you for your patience.

As a reminder, our Fall league is limited and registration is on a first come, first served basis. Our teams generally fill up pretty quickly, so be sure to sign up fast. If your child ends up on the wait list please do not panic, it simply means that we are waiting to see if we have enough players and coaches to form additional teams. LFYAA Soccer also utilizes the complex for Fall soccer therefore, our Fall baseball/softball program is much smaller due to limited field availability.

We hope that you are all having a wonderful summer so far. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you again soon.

Thanks,
LFYAA Baseball/Softball Board
